A powerful dual-pane file manager, crafted for macOS

PathslyYour files. Your flow.

A powerful dual-pane file manager, crafted for macOS. Liquid Glass, keyboard-first, with SSH, Docker and a terminal built into every pane.

macOS 26 Tahoe or later · Apple silicon · Coming soon

Everything in two panes

The classic workflow, rebuilt for the Mac you have now.

  • Two panes, many tabs

Each pane holds its own tabs, path, selection and history. Drag the divider, double-click to center. Space marks, Tab switches.

  • Copy that shows its work

Source and destination side by side, live progress, verify-after-copy. Works the same across local disks, volumes and SSH hosts.

  • View & edit, Markdown included

F3 to view, F4 to edit. Code, Split or Preview for Markdown with a real formatting toolbar and ⌘B/⌘I/⌘K.

  • Terminal in the pane

Open a shell exactly where you are, local or remote. Commands you type in the command line run right there.

  • Claude Code, one key away

Launch a Claude Code session from the current folder. It reads, edits and explains your files, with diffs you can see.

  • Find anything

Search by name through the active folder tree with type filters. Enter jumps straight to the result.

Local · SSH · Docker

Your server is just another pane.

Pathsly reads your ~/.ssh/config, unlocks keys from Keychain, and opens remote hosts side by side with your Mac. Copy across machines with F5. List, edit and rebuild Docker containers wherever they run. Drop into a terminal or a Claude Code session without leaving the folder you're in.

  • SSH from ~/.ssh/config
  • Passphrases in Keychain
  • Cross-host copy
  • Docker local & remote
  • Bonjour discovery

Keyboard first

Your hands never leave the keys.

The function-key row you already know, plus Mac-native shortcuts for tabs, search and panes.

  • F3View
  • F4Edit
  • F5Copy
  • F6Move
  • F7New folder
  • F8Delete
  • ⌘TNew tab
  • ⌘FFind
  • ⌘KSSH hosts
  • ⌘DContainers
  • F2Terminal
  • ⇧⌘CClaude Code

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Anything else? Write to us — a human replies, usually the same day.

Is Pathsly free?

Pathsly will be free during the beta. Pricing for 1.0 will be announced before launch.

Which Macs are supported?

macOS 26 Tahoe or later on Apple silicon. Pathsly is built on the native Liquid Glass materials introduced in macOS 26, so earlier versions and Intel Macs are not supported.

Does it work with my existing SSH setup?

Pathsly reads ~/.ssh/config as-is, including ProxyJump and IdentityFile. Key passphrases are stored in your login Keychain, never in app files.

Do I need Docker Desktop?

Any Docker Engine works: Docker Desktop, OrbStack or Colima locally, and the engine on your servers over SSH. Pathsly talks to the socket directly.

Is Claude Code included?

Pathsly launches the Claude Code CLI you already have installed, in the folder of the active pane. You use your own Anthropic account; nothing is proxied through us.

Can I use Total Commander shortcuts?

F3–F8 behave as you expect, Space marks, Tab switches panes. Mac-native shortcuts (⌘T, ⌘F, ⌘K) sit alongside them and everything is remappable in Settings.

What data leaves my Mac?

None by default. There is no account and no analytics. The optional update check fetches a version file and nothing else — see the Privacy page.
